Sixty years, but it doesn’t show.
It was in 1953 when Mario Fiasconaro, Fausto, Martino and Nicola Fiasconaro father start working as an ice-cream dealer and pastry chef.
At that time fridges didn’t exist. Ice cream were prepared with snow, which was stored to prepare ice creams.
Then arrived the first experience with pastry, cassatine, cannoli, “sfincioni” with ricotta cream and mountains of profiteroles, that soon become his real masterpiece.
Meanwhile, Mario, Fausto, Martino and Nicola grew up learning from their Dad, and they soon caught his expertise seizing the art of family, strongly promoting the company, at national and international level.
The three brothers Fausto, Martino e Nicola, little more than children, helping in the free time, started to learn the craft. Today Fiasconaro brothers head the company that bears their name: Fausto is the showroom manager, Martino leads the administration, Nicola is the awards-winningpastry chef, who received the title of Honorary Citizen by the Avola local administration for his role played over these years as Sicilian pastry excellence ambassador in the world.
Fiasconaro is a modern and continuously expanding company: thanks to the passioned and efficient professionals teamwork, to the strong business spirit ad to an extraordinary instinct, it earns an high position in the area, establishing itself on the national and international market.
The long years experience between craft laboratories and pastry shops, first in Italy, after abroad, and the knowledge of the most advanced processing methods make Fiasconaro’s pioneers in the homemade pastry area.
The love for tastes of the land, the respect for the rhythms of nature, the unstoppable faith in tradition, have never made submit them to the lure of industrial production on large scale.
