THE MILL

IL MOLINO farm, which has belonged to my family for generations, is  built around the 17th century farmhouse that represents the heart of the property. Il Molino is located in the heart of the Lazio countryside, on a hill between Montefiascone and Lake Bolsena. It stands on two hundred and fifty hectares, here you can find both the mill and the beautiful family estate that have been passed from generation to generation.

 

 

 

 

GROWING ORGANIC

Il Molino follows an exclusively organic farming, only the olives produced in its own grounds are pressed in the mill.
Olives are harvested using the technique of the fronds brushing. After falling in the large nets, they are hand-picked and placed in aerated containers and immediately transferred to the company mill for grinding. The oil that is obtained is then stored in steel containers and placed under nitrogen to preserve the nutritional quality of the product, preventing oxidation.

The extra virgin olive oil bio Il Molino has obtained the DOP Tuscia certification which is given only to the best organic olive oils.

The quality of all "Il Molino" products - oils, olives patés, pasta and jams - is easily recognized when tasting them and it brings incredible benefits for the body.

 

 

 

Il Molino also produces a natural line of cosmetics based on olive oil, all strictly organic and chemicals free.
